Pink Plus Level 3 is for girls who have achieved the required scores to move up from Level 2. These classes are two hours long and work on intermediate level skills and USAG Level 3 routines on all four of the Olympic events - uneven bars, balance beam, floor, and vault - as well as flexibility and strength training. Girls at this level work toward competing at our seasonal in-gym competitions and skill testing! A score of 32.0 or higher at an in-gym competition, a score of 80% or higher at skills testing and an invitational is required to move up into competitive team.

Girls Gymnastics Equipment

• Vault (stacked mats or resi pit with a spring board at this level)
• trampolines, foam block pits, mats and lots of other equipment to assist with learning

In addition to gymnastics skills and routines, at MGA girls also learn:

• accelerated flexibility training
• accelerated strength training
• overcoming fears and goal-setting skills
• discipline and proper social skills
• treating others with kindness and respect

IN-GYM COMPETITIONS

At MGA we host seasonal in-gym competitions, where students get to show off what they've been learning in class and get a chance to compete for awards and earn their score to move up! Each competition has a special theme and is designed to be a fun and positive experience for students. ​

Skill Testing

In addition to in-gym competitions, we host seasonal skill testing, where girls perform the individual skills that they've learned in class and receive a proficiency score on each skill. This provides valuable feedback for both parents and coaches on each child's progress and also gives children the chance to get the score they need to move up to the next level!
